Revolutionize Your Daily Grind with Cutting-Edge Innovation

FM Nutrition Opti-Thyroid | Advanced Thyroid Support with Selenium, Myo-Inositol, Zinc, Iodine & Activated B Vitamins | 60 Veg Capsules

Complete nutritional support for thyroid hormone production, T4-to-T3 conversion, antioxidant defence and cellular energy.

Your thyroid sets the pace for metabolism, energy, body temperature, and the health of your hair and skin. Making and using thyroid hormone is a multi-step process, and each step depends on specific nutrients. Iodine and tyrosine build the hormone. Selenium and zinc help convert inactive T4 into active T3. Antioxidants protect thyroid cells, which generate hydrogen peroxide as part of normal hormone production.

Most thyroid supplements cover one or two of these steps. FM Nutrition Opti-Thyroid supports all of them in one formula.

Production. Iodine (150 mcg) and L-Tyrosine supply the raw materials for T4 and T3. Zinc bisglycinate supports normal thyroid hormone synthesis.

Conversion. Selenium as L-selenomethionine (200 mcg) is a component of the deiodinase enzymes that activate T4 into T3. Zinc and activated B vitamins provide supporting cofactors.

Protection. Thyroid tissue holds more selenium per gram than any other organ, because it needs selenium-dependent glutathione peroxidases to neutralise oxidative stress. Opti-Thyroid pairs selenium with NAC (a glutathione precursor), taurine, copper and manganese for broad antioxidant enzyme support.

Immune balance. Myo-inositol and selenium have been studied together in autoimmune thyroiditis, where the combination supported healthy TSH and thyroid antibody levels.

Energy. Acetyl-L-carnitine, benfotiamine (B1), riboflavin-5-phosphate (B2) and P5P (B6) support mitochondrial ATP production, so the metabolic signal from thyroid hormone can translate into usable cellular energy.

Every ingredient is in a form chosen for absorption: chelated zinc, organic selenium, and the active coenzyme forms of B2 and B6 that need no liver conversion. The formula is biotin-free, so it won’t distort TSH, FT4 or FT3 results.

Opti-Thyroid is designed for practitioner-guided thyroid wellness programs and integrates with functional medicine protocols at Wellfinity and AIC FM Academy.

Key benefits

  • Supports thyroid hormone production: provides iodine, tyrosine and zinc, the core nutrients for normal T4 and T3 synthesis.
  • Supports healthy T4-to-T3 conversion: selenium and zinc are cofactors for the deiodinase enzymes that activate thyroid hormone.
  • Thyroid antioxidant defence: selenium, NAC and taurine help protect thyroid cells from oxidative stress.
  • Supports thyroid–immune balance: myo-inositol and selenium support healthy immune function in the thyroid.
  • Supports cellular energy: acetyl-L-carnitine and activated B vitamins support mitochondrial function and ATP production.
  • Lab-friendly: no biotin, so no interference with thyroid blood tests.

Directions: Take 2 capsules daily with a meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. If you take levothyroxine or other thyroid medication, take Opti-Thyroid at least 4 hours apart.

Cautions

Not for use in hyperthyroidism or Graves’ disease unless directed by a practitioner (contains iodine and tyrosine). Consult your practitioner before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, on thyroid medication, on MAO inhibitors or levodopa (tyrosine interaction), or managing an autoimmune thyroid condition. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Not a substitute for a varied diet. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Why choose Opti-Thyroid

  • Supports production, conversion, protection and energy in one formula, instead of iodine and selenium alone
  • Bioavailable forms: zinc bisglycinate, L-selenomethionine, active B2 and B6, benfotiamine
  • Biotin-free, so lab monitoring stays accurate
  • Designed by functional medicine clinicians for practitioner protocols
  • Free from wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, corn, yeast, fish, shellfish, eggs and nuts

Storage:  Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

FAQ’s

What is FM Nutrition Opti-Thyroid used for?

Opti-Thyroid provides nutritional support for healthy thyroid function. It covers thyroid hormone production, T4-to-T3 conversion, antioxidant protection of thyroid cells, thyroid–immune balance and cellular energy.

How is Opti-Thyroid different from other thyroid supplements?

Most thyroid supplements provide iodine and selenium, sometimes with herbs. Opti-Thyroid supports four stages of thyroid physiology in one formula: production, conversion, protection and energy. It uses bioavailable forms such as zinc bisglycinate and L-selenomethionine, and it is biotin-free.

Why is "biotin-free" important in a thyroid supplement?

Biotin can interfere with the immunoassays used to measure TSH, FT4 and FT3, producing falsely abnormal results. Opti-Thyroid contains no biotin, so it won't skew your thyroid blood tests.

Does Opti-Thyroid support T4 to T3 conversion?

Yes. Selenium is a structural component of the deiodinase enzymes that convert T4 into active T3, and zinc supports their activity. Opti-Thyroid provides 200 mcg selenium and 15 mg zinc per serving.

Why does it contain L-Tyrosine?

The thyroid builds T4 and T3 by attaching iodine to tyrosine. L-Tyrosine provides this amino acid building block alongside iodine.

How much iodine and selenium does it contain?

Each 2-capsule serving provides 150 mcg iodine (the adult RDA) and 200 mcg selenium as L-selenomethionine. Count any other iodine or selenium supplements toward your daily total.

Can I take Opti-Thyroid with levothyroxine or thyroxine?

Many people do, under practitioner guidance. Take Opti-Thyroid at least 4 hours apart from your thyroid medication, because minerals can reduce levothyroxine absorption. Your practitioner may recheck your thyroid levels after starting.

Is Opti-Thyroid suitable for Hashimoto's thyroiditis?

Its selenium and myo-inositol have been studied for thyroid–immune balance. Because it contains iodine, people with autoimmune thyroid conditions should use it under a practitioner who can account for their total iodine intake.

Can I take it if I have hyperthyroidism or Graves' disease?

No, not without practitioner direction. Opti-Thyroid contains iodine and tyrosine, which are not appropriate for an overactive thyroid.

Will Opti-Thyroid help with fatigue?

It contains acetyl-L-carnitine and activated B vitamins that support mitochondrial ATP production. Acetyl-L-carnitine has been studied for fatigue in people with hypothyroidism. Individual results vary.

How long before I notice results?

Thyroid-related nutrient status changes gradually. Most practitioners assess response after 8–12 weeks of consistent use, ideally alongside follow-up labs.

When and how should I take it?

Take 2 capsules daily with a meal, or as directed by your practitioner. Splitting into 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 with lunch is fine.

Can I take it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Thyroid needs change significantly in pregnancy. Only use Opti-Thyroid during pregnancy or breastfeeding if your healthcare practitioner recommends it.
